What to expect after placing an order on CoinDuffle — confirmation page, email, order number, and next steps.

Order Confirmation

After you successfully place an order on CoinDuffle, you'll receive immediate confirmation both on-screen and via email. This page explains what to expect and what to do next.

The Confirmation Page

Immediately after your payment is processed (or your order is submitted for ACH/wire transfer), you'll be taken to an order confirmation page. This page includes:

  • Order Number — A unique identifier for your order (e.g., #CD-20260209-1234). Save this number — you'll need it if you contact support or want to reference the order later.
  • Order Summary — A complete list of the items you purchased, including quantities and prices.
  • Shipping Address — The address where your order will be delivered.
  • Payment Method — The payment method used (credit card ending in XXXX, ACH transfer, or wire transfer).
  • Estimated Delivery — An approximate delivery timeframe based on the shipping method you selected.
  • Order Total — The final amount charged, including items, shipping, and any applicable taxes.

The Confirmation Email

Within a few minutes of placing your order, you'll receive a confirmation email at the email address associated with your CoinDuffle account. This email contains:

  • All the same details as the confirmation page
  • A link to view your order status in your account
  • Wire transfer instructions (if you selected wire transfer as your payment method)
  • Contact information for support

Didn't Get the Email?

If you don't see a confirmation email within 15 minutes:

  1. Check your spam or junk folder — Email filters sometimes flag order confirmations.
  2. Search for "CoinDuffle" — Use your email's search function to find it.
  3. Verify your email address — Make sure the email on your CoinDuffle account is correct by going to Account → Profile.
  4. Check your order history — Go to Account → Orders to confirm the order went through.
  5. Contact support — If you still can't find it, reach out to support@coinduffle.com with your order details.

What Happens Next

Here's what happens behind the scenes after you place your order:

For Credit Card Payments

  1. Payment authorized — Your card is charged immediately.
  2. Seller notified — The dealer receives notification of your order and begins preparing it.
  3. Order processing — The seller picks, verifies, and packages your items.
  4. Shipment — Your order is shipped, and you'll receive a tracking number via email.
  5. Delivery — Your order arrives at your shipping address.

For ACH Bank Transfers

  1. Transfer initiated — The bank transfer begins processing.
  2. Payment pending — Your order shows a "Pending" status while the transfer clears (3–5 business days).
  3. Payment confirmed — Once funds are received, the seller is notified.
  4. Processing and shipment — Same as credit card orders from this point forward.

For Wire Transfers

  1. Wire instructions sent — You receive an email with the bank details and reference number needed to complete the wire.
  2. You send the wire — Initiate the wire transfer from your bank using the provided instructions.
  3. Payment received — Once the wire arrives (typically 1 business day for domestic wires), the seller is notified.
  4. Processing and shipment — Same as credit card orders from this point forward.

Tracking Your Order

After placing your order, you can track its progress at any time:

  1. Go to Account → Orders.
  2. Click on the order you want to track.
  3. View the current status, tracking number (once shipped), and estimated delivery date.

Modifying or Canceling an Order

If you need to make changes to your order after placing it:

  • Before the seller ships — Contact CoinDuffle support as soon as possible. We may be able to modify or cancel the order, depending on the seller's processing status.
  • After the order ships — Modifications are no longer possible. You may need to go through the return/refund process instead.

Important Reminders

  • Save your order number — Keep a record of your order number for easy reference.
  • Complete wire transfers promptly — If you selected wire transfer, send the wire as soon as possible. Orders waiting for wire payment may be held for a limited time before being automatically cancelled.
  • Monitor your email — Order updates, shipping notifications, and tracking information are all sent via email.
