Tracking Shipments
How to track your CoinDuffle orders with carrier tracking numbers, delivery updates, and what to do if something goes wrong.
Tracking Shipments
Once your order ships, CoinDuffle provides you with tracking information so you can follow your package every step of the way from the seller's location to your doorstep.
Getting Your Tracking Number
When the seller ships your order, you'll receive your tracking information in two ways:
- Email notification — An email is sent to your registered email address with the tracking number and a direct link to track your package.
- Order details page — The tracking number appears on your order detail page at Account → Orders → [Your Order].
Tracking numbers are typically available within 1–3 business days after your order moves to "Processing" status.
How to Track Your Package
From CoinDuffle
- Go to Account → Orders.
- Click on the order you want to track.
- Look for the Tracking Number in the shipping section.
- Click the tracking number or the Track Package link to be taken directly to the carrier's tracking page.
From the Carrier's Website
You can also track your package directly on the carrier's website. Sellers may ship via USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, or other supported carriers:
- USPS — Visit tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction
- UPS — Visit ups.com/track
- FedEx — Visit fedex.com/fedextrack
- DHL — Visit dhl.com/en/express/tracking
Enter your tracking number on the appropriate carrier's site.
Understanding Tracking Updates
As your package moves through the carrier's network, you'll see tracking events that tell you where it is:
| Tracking Event | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Shipping Label Created | The seller has created a shipping label but the package hasn't been picked up yet. |
| Accepted / Picked Up | The carrier has received the package from the seller. |
| In Transit | The package is moving through the carrier's network between facilities. |
| Arrived at Facility | The package has arrived at a sorting or distribution center. |
| Out for Delivery | The package is on the delivery vehicle and will be delivered today. |
| Delivered | The package has been delivered to the address on file. |
Estimated Delivery Times
Delivery times depend on the shipping method and carrier selected by the seller, and the distance between the seller and your address. Common estimates:
| Shipping Method | Estimated Delivery |
|---|---|
| Standard / Ground services | 3–7 business days |
| Priority / Expedited services | 2–3 business days |
| Express / Overnight services | 1–2 business days |
Actual delivery times vary by carrier (USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.), distance, weather, carrier volume, and other factors. Holiday periods and severe weather can cause delays.
Shipping Insurance
CoinDuffle takes the safe delivery of your purchases seriously. Shipping insurance protects your purchase in case of loss, theft, or damage during transit:
- Included insurance — Most orders include basic shipping insurance at no extra cost.
- Additional coverage — For high-value orders, additional insurance may be applied automatically or available as an add-on during checkout.
- Filing a claim — If your package is lost or damaged, contact CoinDuffle support. We'll work with the carrier and insurance provider to resolve the issue.
What to Do When Your Package Arrives
When your package is delivered:
- Inspect the packaging — Look for any signs of damage or tampering before opening.
- Open carefully — Precious metals and collectibles are typically well-packaged, but open with care to avoid damaging the contents.
- Verify the contents — Check that you received the correct items in the correct quantities. Compare the items to the product listing photos and description.
- Inspect for damage — Examine each item for any damage that may have occurred during shipping.
- Report issues promptly — If anything is missing, wrong, or damaged, contact CoinDuffle support within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the issue.
Common Tracking Issues
"Shipping Label Created" But No Movement
If tracking shows "Shipping Label Created" for more than 2 business days without any further updates, the seller may not have dropped off the package yet. Contact CoinDuffle support if there's no movement after 3 business days.
Tracking Hasn't Updated in Several Days
Packages sometimes go through periods without tracking updates, especially during carrier sorting and long-distance transit. If tracking hasn't updated in more than 5 business days:
- Check the carrier's website directly for the most current information
- Contact CoinDuffle support if the package appears stuck
"Delivered" But I Didn't Receive It
If tracking shows your package was delivered but you didn't receive it:
- Check around your property — Look at your front door, back door, mailbox, with a neighbor, or any secure location where packages are sometimes left.
- Check with household members — Someone else may have brought the package inside.
- Wait 24 hours — Occasionally, a package is marked "Delivered" before the carrier actually drops it off.
- Contact the carrier — Call your local post office or the carrier's customer service.
- Contact CoinDuffle support — If you still can't locate the package, reach out to us. We'll help investigate and resolve the issue.
Signature Confirmation
For high-value orders, packages may require a signature upon delivery. This means:
- Someone must be present to sign for the package
- The carrier will not leave the package unattended
- If no one is available, the carrier will leave a notice and attempt redelivery or hold the package at a nearby facility for pickup
Signature confirmation adds an extra layer of security, especially for valuable coins and precious metals.
