How to find and explore products on CoinDuffle — product listings, detail pages, images, and seller information.

Browsing Products

CoinDuffle hosts thousands of products from verified dealers across the country. Whether you're looking for a specific coin, browsing bullion for investment, or hunting for a rare collectible, here's how to make the most of the browsing experience.

Product Listings

When you browse a category or view search results, you'll see products displayed as cards in a grid layout. Each product card shows:

  • Product Image — A high-quality thumbnail of the item. Products with multiple images show the primary image first.
  • Product Title — The name of the item, typically including the year, metal type, and denomination where applicable.
  • Price — The current price. For metal-based products, this updates in real time based on the live spot price. A label indicates whether the price is "Fixed" or "Spot-Based."
  • Seller Name — The dealer listing the product. Click to visit their store.
  • Metal Type Badge — A visual indicator showing the metal type (Gold, Silver, Platinum, Palladium) if applicable.
  • Condition/Grade — For graded coins, the certification grade (e.g., MS-70, PF-69) is displayed prominently.

Sorting Options

You can sort product listings by:

  • Relevance (default for search results)
  • Price: Low to High
  • Price: High to Low
  • Newest First
  • Most Popular

Use the sort dropdown at the top of any listing page to change the order.

Product Detail Pages

Click on any product card to open its full detail page. Here's what you'll find:

Product detail pages feature a full image gallery:

  • Multiple photos — Sellers can upload several high-resolution images showing different angles, close-ups of details, and the coin's edge.
  • Zoom functionality — Hover over (or pinch on mobile) any image to zoom in and examine fine details like mint marks, surface quality, and toning.
  • Gallery navigation — Click thumbnails below the main image to switch views, or swipe on mobile.

Product Information

Below the images, you'll find comprehensive details about the item:

  • Title and Description — A full description of the product, often including historical context, mintage numbers, and special features.
  • Metal Content — For precious metal products: the metal type, purity (e.g., .999 fine gold), and weight in troy ounces or grams.
  • Price Breakdown — For spot-based products, you'll see the current spot price, the weight, and the premium so you can understand exactly how the price is calculated.
  • Availability — Current stock status. Some items are limited edition or one-of-a-kind.
  • SKU — A unique product identifier, useful if you want to reference the item when contacting support or the seller.

Seller Information

Every product page includes a section about the seller:

  • Seller Name and Store Link — Click to visit their full store and browse all their inventory.
  • Seller Rating — An aggregate rating based on buyer feedback.
  • Shipping Info — The seller's standard shipping methods, estimated delivery times, and any free shipping thresholds.

Add to Cart and Wishlist

  • Add to Cart — Select a quantity and click Add to Cart to add the item to your shopping cart. For items with variants (e.g., different years or conditions), select the variant before adding.
  • Add to Wishlist — Click the heart icon to save the item for later. You can access your wishlist anytime from your account dashboard.

Product Q&A

At the bottom of every product page is a Questions & Answers section where buyers can ask questions about the item and receive answers from the seller or other community members. See Product Questions for details.

Tips for Browsing

  • Check the images carefully — For collectible coins, condition is everything. Zoom in on images to check for scratches, toning, wear, and other details that affect value.
  • Read the full description — Sellers often include important details like certification numbers, provenance, and storage history in the description.
  • Compare across sellers — The same product (e.g., a 1 oz American Gold Eagle) may be listed by multiple dealers at different prices and premiums. Compare before buying.
  • Look at the premium — For investment-grade bullion, the premium over spot is often more important than the sticker price. A lower premium means better value relative to the metal content.
  • Check the seller's other listings — If you find a seller you like, visit their store to see their full inventory. Buying multiple items from the same seller can sometimes save on shipping.
