Configure your CoinDuffle seller account after approval. Set up your profile information, contact details, and account preferences to get ready to sell.
Setting Up Your Seller Account
Once your dealer application has been approved, it's time to configure your seller account. This page covers the essential profile settings you'll need to complete before creating your store and listing products.
Accessing Your Seller Dashboard
After approval, sign in to CoinDuffle and you'll see a Seller Dashboard option in your account menu. This is your central hub for managing everything — products, orders, payouts, and settings.
The first time you visit the dashboard, you'll be guided through the initial setup steps. You can also access your account settings at any time by navigating to Account → Settings.
Profile Information
Your seller profile is the foundation of your CoinDuffle account. Complete these fields to build trust with buyers:
Display Name
This is the name buyers see associated with your account. It can be your business name, your personal name, or a professional alias. Choose something recognizable and consistent with your brand.
Email Address
Your primary email is used for:
- Order notifications
- Payout confirmations
- Platform updates and announcements
- Customer communications (if you enable email forwarding)
Make sure this is an email you check regularly. Delayed responses to order inquiries can hurt your seller reputation.
Phone Number
A phone number is required for account verification and may be used for two-factor authentication. It is not displayed publicly to buyers.
Business Address
Your business address is required for:
- Tax reporting purposes
- Shipping label generation (as a return address)
- Platform compliance
If you operate from a home address and prefer not to use it as a return address, you can configure a separate shipping origin address in your Store Settings.
Account Preferences
Notification Settings
Configure how and when you receive notifications:
- Order notifications — Get alerted immediately when a new order comes in (email, and optionally SMS)
- Payout notifications — Receive confirmation when payouts are initiated and completed
- Product alerts — Get notified about low inventory, price changes (for metal-based products), and product questions
- Marketing updates — Opt in or out of CoinDuffle seller newsletters and feature announcements
We recommend keeping order and payout notifications enabled at a minimum.
Time Zone
Set your local time zone so that order timestamps, payout schedules, and analytics dashboards display times correctly for your location.
Currency Display
All transactions on CoinDuffle are in USD. The currency display setting controls how amounts are formatted in your dashboard.
Security Settings
Password
Choose a strong, unique password for your CoinDuffle account. We recommend:
- At least 12 characters
- A mix of uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols
- Not reused from other websites
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
We strongly recommend enabling two-factor authentication on your account. With 2FA enabled, you'll need both your password and a code from your authenticator app to sign in. This protects your account even if your password is compromised.
To enable 2FA:
- Go to Account → Security
- Click Enable Two-Factor Authentication
- Scan the QR code with your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.)
- Enter the verification code to confirm
Recovery Codes
When enabling 2FA, you'll receive a set of recovery codes. Store these in a safe place — they're your backup if you lose access to your authenticator app.
