1921 Morgan Silver Dollar NGC MS 65 — Gem Uncirculated
From $225.00
The 1921 Morgan Silver Dollar graded NGC MS 65 is a Gem Uncirculated example of one of America's most celebrated coin series. Struck in 90% silver, the Morgan Dollar was designed by U. S. Mint engraver George T. Morgan and produced from 1878 through 1921. The 1921 date holds special significance as the final year of the original Morgan Dollar run, minted in large numbers under the Pittman Act before the series gave way to the Peace Dollar in 1922. At the MS 65 level, this coin exhibits strong luster, sharp strike, and only minimal contact marks as expected at the Gem grade. The obverse displays Morgan's elegant left-facing portrait of Liberty crowned with a Phrygian cap and wheat, encircled by thirteen stars and the motto E PLURIBUS UNUM. The reverse presents a heraldic eagle with spread wings, an olive branch, and arrows, framed by UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and ONE DOLLAR. This example is sealed in NGC's signature hard-plastic holder bearing certification number 3866955-009, providing secure, long-term protection for the coin's Gem surfaces while making it ready for display or storage in any standard slab collection.
