Customizing Your Store

Personalize your CoinDuffle storefront with branding, logo, description, and layout options. Make your store stand out and build trust with buyers.

Customizing Your Store

Your CoinDuffle storefront is your digital showroom. A well-branded, professional-looking store builds credibility with buyers and encourages them to browse your full inventory. This guide covers how to customize every visible aspect of your storefront.

Your Public Storefront

Every CoinDuffle dealer gets a dedicated storefront page at:

https://coinduffle.com/store/your-store-slug

This page displays:

  • Your store name and logo
  • Your store description
  • Contact information (if provided)
  • All of your active product listings
  • Your seller rating and feedback

Buyers can browse your entire catalog from this page, making it a powerful tool for cross-selling and building brand loyalty.

Your logo is the visual anchor of your brand on CoinDuffle. It appears:

  • On your storefront header
  • Next to your products in marketplace search results
  • In order confirmation emails sent to buyers
  • In the "Sold by" section on product detail pages
  1. Navigate to Seller Dashboard → Store Settings
  2. Click your current logo (or the placeholder) in the Store Logo section
  3. Select a new image from your computer
  4. Crop or adjust if needed
  5. Click Save

Logo Guidelines

  • Size: 800 × 800 pixels recommended (400 × 400 minimum)
  • Format: PNG with transparent background is ideal; JPG and WebP are also accepted
  • File size: 5 MB maximum
  • Content: Should be your business logo, not a product photo or stock image

A professional logo makes a significant difference. If you don't have one, consider investing in a simple, clean design. Even a text-based logo with your store name in a distinctive font works well.

Store Description

Your description appears at the top of your storefront page and is your best opportunity to tell buyers why they should shop with you.

Updating Your Description

  1. Go to Seller Dashboard → Store Settings
  2. Find the Store Description text area
  3. Write or edit your description
  4. Click Save

What Makes a Great Store Description

Lead with credibility:

"Serving collectors for over 20 years, Mountain State Coins is an ANA Life Member and NGC Authorized Dealer."

Highlight your specialization:

"We specialize in Carson City Morgan Dollars, early American copper, and key-date Lincoln Cents."

Mention your service commitment:

"Every order ships within one business day. All items are carefully packaged and fully insured."

Include any guarantees:

"We offer a 14-day unconditional return policy on all purchases. Your satisfaction is guaranteed."

Description Best Practices

  • Keep it between 100 and 500 words
  • Use short paragraphs for easy scanning
  • Mention specific product categories you carry
  • Include your experience, certifications, and memberships
  • Highlight shipping speed, return policies, and guarantees
  • Update it seasonally or when your inventory focus changes

Store Name and URL

You set these during store creation, but you can update them later:

  • Store Name — Can be changed at any time from Store Settings. Keep in mind that frequent name changes can confuse repeat buyers.
  • Store URL Slug — Can be changed, but use caution. Changing your slug will break any existing links, bookmarks, or search engine listings pointing to your old URL.

Contact Information

Displaying contact information on your storefront is optional but can increase buyer confidence, especially for high-value transactions.

Available Fields

  • Customer support email — For pre-sale questions and post-sale support
  • Phone number — For buyers who prefer to call
  • External website — Link to your standalone website or other online presence

When to Display Contact Info

  • High-value dealers selling items over $1,000 benefit most from visible contact info
  • Established businesses with a physical location should include their website
  • New sellers may prefer to use CoinDuffle's built-in messaging system exclusively

Storefront Optimization Tips

Product Organization

While CoinDuffle handles the layout of your storefront automatically, you can influence how products appear:

  • Use consistent, high-quality photography — Products with professional images appear more trustworthy
  • Write clear, keyword-rich titles — These help buyers find your products in search
  • Price competitively — Products that are priced well appear higher in relevance-based sorting

Building Your Reputation

Your storefront also displays your seller rating and number of completed sales. To build a strong reputation:

  • Ship orders promptly (within 1 business day if possible)
  • Respond to buyer messages within 24 hours
  • Describe products accurately to avoid returns and negative feedback
  • Package items securely to prevent shipping damage

Cross-Selling

When a buyer visits your storefront, they can see your entire catalog. To maximize cross-selling:

  • Maintain a diverse but focused inventory
  • List products in categories that complement each other
  • Keep your inventory fresh with new listings regularly

Previewing Changes

After making changes to your store profile, always click View Storefront to see the result. Check your storefront on both desktop and mobile to ensure everything looks good on all screen sizes.
